It’s no secret that the big Bosnian has been a disappointment since his move from Wolfsburg in January.

After impressing in Germany and the Champions League Edin came to City with everyone expecting him to make an instant impact. But for some reason it just hasn’t happened for him. At times he has looked slow and his first touch has let him down. He has shown glimpses of the form that earned him his huge price tag but he has not done enough yet to win over the fans.

Mancini has backed Edin to come good and admits we probably won’t see the best of him until next season.

That may well be true but how long can we give him? For me, if Edin doesn’t do something before the end of this season we may not see him much next season.
