United’s Round Of 32 / Round Of 16 Opponents

After getting bounced out Europe’s elite competition, Manchester United turn their attention to the Europa League for the first time in their history, as they drew another European powerhouse, AFC Ajax, in the Round of 32.

Reds face Ajax in Round of 32

 United will be away to Ajax at the Amsterdam Arena on February 16 and will host them at Old Trafford the following Thursday, February 23.

If the Reds are to defeat Ajax over their two-legged affair, they will then face the winner of the match between Lokomotiv Moscow / Athletic Bilbao in the Round of 16, which will be played on March 8 and March 15, respectively.

Due to rules already in place, the Reds won’t be able to face either of the two other English clubs – Manchester City or Stoke City – until the at least the quarterfinal stage, which they will need to win the next two rounds to have a chance of doing so.
