Toon Linked With Nicklas Bendtner

Today the Arsenal star Nicklas Bendtner who has struggled this season at Arsenal could be on his way to Tyneside this summer. Alan Pardew looks set to promise Nicklas first team football week in, week out at St.James Park if he was to sign for the toon. This comes as the toon is still hunting for a top class striker after the departure of Andy Carroll to Liverpool with a £35million price tag.

With the funds this summer being made available to Pardew, the boss looks set to splash out on a top class star to work alongside the likes of Nile Ranger, Leon Best, Shola Ameobi and Peter Lovenkrands. So what do we know about Nicklas Bendter? Well the 23 year old star was born in Denmark and grew up playing football in that country since 1992. Back in 2004 Arsenal came along and snapped the star and played him in the youth academy in London. He made his first senior in 2005 and has so far made 90 appearances netting 18 goals. The star also plays for his home and has played alongside Peter Lovenkrands who currently playing for the toon.
