So The Manchester United PIG Has Finally Squealed (Repost)

Ahead of Manchester United’s UEFA Champions League encounter with SL Benefica, their out-of-favor goalkeeper, Tomasz Kuszczak, has admitted he is angry about not being able to pursue his career elsewhere.

He’s been reaping the rewards of United

The PIG, Pole in Goal, has never hid his desire to leave Old Trafford last year, which was evident following his revelation right before the Reds’ match with West Ham United, but, unfortunately for him, nobody valued him enough.

Like it or not, Sir Alex Ferguson puts a valuation on a player, whether they are coming into the club or going out, and the £4million asking price for Kuszczak priced him out of a move to another club, so he will remain fourth-choice at United.

The 29-year old is in his sixth, five as an official player, season at United, and during that time he has collected 10 winners’ medals – three Barclays Premier League, two League Cups, an UEFA Champions League, a FIFA Club World Cup and three FA Community Shield.

In that time he has amassed a whopping 61 appearances in all competitions – so let’s get this right, for every six match Kuszczak has won a medal – not to shabby for a disgruntled part-time player.

“I am angry and disappointed with the way I am treated. I had a few good offers. The problem was the club who wanted to sell me for £4m.”

If you were to poll the vast majority of United supporters, they would not rate Kuszczak as a quality goalkeeper – and nobody could fault them, either.

Based on his last appearance for the club, the 1-1 draw with Blackburn, which secured last year’s Premier League title, he has played his last game for United, unless something catastrophic happens. He did everything in his power in that game to give the Red Devils’ title challengers hope by nearly gifting Rovers a few golden opportunities.

Right now, he is not only behind the two new goalkeepers at the club, David de Gea and Anders Lindegaard, but young Ben Amos has leap-frogged him, as well.

Who really cares Tomasz Kuszczak how much he complains that he just wants to play, because he’s being paid quite handsomely to train with the other world-class Manchester United players, which most people would do for free.
