Reserves Let Three Points Go At Upton Park

Today at Upton Park the toon’s reserves took on a strong West Ham side in the Premier League Reserve League. The game ended 4-2 to the home side, with the Newcastle goals from both Greg McDermott and Conor Newton. Kick off was at 2.00pm watched by a few hundred with the match referee being Warren Atkin. The toon keeper Ole Soderberg was out of the side due to flu, with Jak Alnwick being handed his first reserve start of the season with Ben Robinson on the bench.
The toon line up was: Jak Alnwick, Dan Leadbitter, Michael Riley, Jeff Henderson, Remie Streete, Conor Newton, Brad Inman, Greg McDermott, Joan Edmundsson, Michael Richardson and Phil Airey. As for the bench: Ben Robinson, Patrick Nzuzi, Alex Nicholson, Ben Sayer and Ryan McGorrigan. As for the West Ham side there was the likes of: Robbie Keane, Callum McNaughton and Julien Faubert.
