Real Madrid v Barcelona Highlights – La Liga

Real Madrid had a fantastic chance to extend their lead at the top of La Liga with a home game against Champions Barcelona, and they looked good when Benzema was gifted a goal after just 21 seconds, but Barca showed their quality again with a brilliant comeback.

Messi dribbled through a sea of Madrid players to set up Sanchez for the equaliser after half an hour, and then Xavi got lucky with the goal that put Barca in front for the first time.

The ex-Arsenal star Cesc Fabregas put the game beyond doubt later on with an extremely well-taken header. Although Barcelona won the game 3-1, Madrid certainly missed at least a couple of sitters which could have given them at least a point.

It now looks like the race for the title will be going down to the wire this season as both clubs are now level at the top.
