Chelsea’s Brazilian star tell QPR no thanks I would rather go back to Brazil.
Alex the Chelsea central defender who is no longer wanted at Stamford Bridge by manager AVB, and has been told he is welcome to leave is said to be not interested in a £3m move to struggling QPR to play under new manager Mark Hughes.
People in the Brazilian inner circle say he would prefer to go, and play for his old boss Carlo Ancelotti at PSG, or failing that go home, and play in Brazil
Chelsea think that just because the 29-year-old isn’t happy at Chelsea is no reason for the club to let him go cheaply, to the first offer that comes in.
Andre Villas-Boas has said “We have respected Alex’s transfer request so the market’s open for him. We’re just trying to reach the level of proposal we think is good for the player.
“We have to wait and see if anything happens. Nothing has happened up to now but we’ll listen to all offers.”
