Nothing has changed

Hello everyone. It’s been a long time coming a new blog but i wanted to write it sooner rather than later but couldn’t. Won’t bug you with the details of that. Last time i wrote, we were facing wigan after thrashing chelshit 3-1. What changed between then and now? Nothing. The team hasn’t learnt it’s lessons – play well and you’ll win, be sloppy and you’ll lose. Losing to a team 19th in the championship in a cup tie is unacceptable, that too with theo, cesc, djorou and wilshere in that side. We were barely playing football and got punished for that. The leeds game was another example. Though we didn’t deserve to lose that, i don’t know how we didn’t win that.

The only person i feel sorry for in the midst of all this is wenger. Reason – the players have let him down. And these are not players who are 2nd string quality, i’m talking about Arshavin, Bendtner, Eboue and Denilson. 3 international players out of these 4, and arguably their work rate has affected the team as a whole. Not saying that this is an excuse but if bendtner had taken his chances against leeds, wouldn’t we have saved the effort of a replay? Im sure we can all understand why wenger puts his faith in them. Maybe you can say it is partly wenger’s fault to motivate them and make them rise to the occasion,as a manager. But sometimes it’s down to a player himself to have the urge to fight for a place in the squad and the urge to win something. At the chelshit match, we were boasting about squad depth and competition for places. Now our starting line-up is pretty much clear:
fabianski/chesney – clichy/gibbs – djorou – koscielny/vermaelen (if he’s returning this season) – sagna – song – wilshere – Theo van Nasregas

With the amount of games that we play in january, it’s bad to see this is only wenger’s choice BECAUSE of other’s players poor performances. at the leeds match, everytime arshavin or bendtner lost the ball or played bad, i saw the crowd standing up and throwing their arms in disgust as if they were saying “what the fuck was that?”. Now that is a bad sign. Fans are really frustrated and i can see that wenger is giving them a fair chance in the cup ties to prove their worth, just like he gave almunia a fair chance. But they’re all like that rabbit in that story “the tortoise and the rabbit” – they have the ability to produce something big but they just don’t want to.

Anyway no point in wailing about the past, the epl results since chelshit game were good, with the exception of man shitty. The crowd shouting “boring boring shitty” tells you the story. The common joke on twitter was “Man shitty payed 0.5 billion for a bus parked outside emirates”. Their attitude was so negative and we really had bad luck, itting the post thrice and cleared of the line twice. But they got what they came for and it really isn’t poetic justice that a team filled with such humongous cunts who were playing all their players behind the ball are 2 points ahead of us at 2nd. The other results were good and we’re keepin pressure on league leaders, and while im optimistic we can win this league, it’s gonna be tight. Also, the thought of Fergie (which is a girl’s name btw) calling his team, which is filled with ogre-like drug smokers like evra, nani, rooney etc, the invincibles is unacceptable. I just want them to lose some-fucking-how. If noone else can do it, let’s hope karma’s a bitch and bites them back at the emirates for breaking our record.

Also, on the vermaelen issue, wenger says “It’s not a surgery, it’s just a procedure where they’re going to open up his leg and fiddle with some unwanted muscle which is causing problem and remove it”. That’s like saying “it’s not water, it’s h2o”. 4-6 weeks is the timeline. If he can get match fit bby the 2nd leg of barca game then nothing like it. As we know, wenger has said he will sign new players. Names that have popped up – Mexes, Mertesacker, Samba, Dunne, Cahill and few more. Who will he get? Short stop signing or another vermaelen kind player? you guess is as good as mine. Some interesting stuff:

Thierry henry says we can beat barca. Seriously speaking, if we played like how we played against chelshit in 3-1 win then only do we have a chance against a team who have gone 27 games unbeaten in all competitions.

Leeds next and the same old bull shit – play well and you win, lose focus and you lose. Wenger said he’s gonna make some changes. The extent of those changes, i don’t know. But im hoping our starting line up is:
Chesney – Gibbs – Djorou – Koscielny – Sagna – Song – Wilshere – Theo van nasregas

Only 2 changes as seen, but if we are to take the cup seriously then i just cant think of another squad being put out, looking at the form of the other players. Really cant think of anything else to say. Oh and Sanchez Watt looked good at the emirates match and he scored his 1st goal on loan this weekend so looks like he had a good loan spell.
