The latest in the number of players linked to the English giants is South Korean Player of The year, Ki Sung Yueng who is viewed as an answer to their midfield problems
Manchester United have been forced to look for solution to their depleted midfield so much that Scholes had to come out of retirement. Despite Anderson’s return in recent matches, Fletcher et all are still missing and the need for central midfielders has meant that they look elsewhere. Despite Sir Alex Ferguson’s remarks that they do not need to buy in the transfer window, Ki Sung Yueng will certainly be a fine addition to the United Squad.
The 22 year-old was very impressive in the past year, in which he was named South Korean player of the year.
Despite his age, Ki has already been capped 44 times for his national team and carries experience beyond his years. He has also won numerous individual accolades as well as the Scottish cup with his current club Celtic. These are some of his impressive accolades despite his relatively short carrier:
K-League Best XI: 2008, 2009
Asian Young Footballer of the Year: 2009
Scottish Cup Final Man Of The Match: 2011
KFA Footballer of the Year: 2011
