Is Kalou On Verge Of Arsenal Move?

Media reports say that Salomon Kalou has returned to London from Dubai, where he is training with the Ivory Coast as they prepare for the Africa Cup of Nations later this month, to talk with Arsenal about a potential move to the Emirates.

Kalou is out of contract at the end of the season as Chelsea seem unwilling to meet his £90,000-a-week wage demands. Because he can walk away for free in six months, Kalou would cost Arsenal only £3million if they bought him in January.

Long time reader of this site know that I am not a big Kalou fan. However, if he goes to Arsenal, and with Anelka in China, I am a little concerned that Chelsea will be leaving themselves a little thin up-front unless they are planning to bring in a another striker in the January transfer window.
