Joleon Lescott and Edin Dzeko gave City an undeserved, but commanding lead going into halftime, but three goals – Chris Smalling and two from Nani – saw the Reds stage a dramatic come-from-behind victory to earn the first piece of silverware of the 2011/12 season.
United could have very easily rolled over against City, but they did the opposite, and continued playing positive football and were rewarded with the victory, but which Red earned the Man of the Match?
