Edin Dzeko report: My first year at City

January 2011 Manchester City secured the services of renowned striker Edin Dzeko. Having set fire to the Bundesliga it was clear that the Bosnian wanted a new challenge and saw Manchester City and the English Premier League as something that ticked all his boxes. 

Edin made his debut on the 15th January 2011 and although he didn’t score on his debut he did show his ability to handle the physical side of the English game. His touch, control and intelligence on and off the ball was on display for all to see. He did get an assist on City’s third goal that game setting up Yaya Toure.
