I have been reading some of the stories and comments from City fans and pundits about this game and I think maybe we are overreacting just a bit.

The usual negative, boring opinions are back again and to be honest I’m bored of reading about them. The truth is we started the game quite positively and if we were a bit more composed and clinical we may have given ourselves an early lead.

It was only to be expected that as the game went on Chelsea would get more of the ball and create more chances. For the most part we defended very well although I still think Kolarov is not good enough.

You have to consider we were missing Tevez as well who would have surely added more to our attacking threat. Dzeko still looks a little slow but he does show some promising touches and his passing is very good. What’s more worrying with Dzeko are the rumours of players whispering their concerns about his ability. Let’s just hope these are rumours and nothing more as this would be very unprofessional.

I’m still fairly confident we will make top 4 and with Adam Johnson getting back to full fitness and taking some of the pressure off David Silva to create everything we will be a much more potent force going forward.

All this talk of getting rid of Mancini is a bit silly at this stage. We could still get top 4 and sin the FA cup. That would be a great season in my opinion.
