And the Modric saga goes on and on

Afternoon all and apologies for the radio silence in the past few weeks,to cut a long story short work has been nothing short of a fucking nightmare recently and in spare moments I’ve tried to stay as far away from a PC as possible. Added to a general sense of disillusionment with Spurs and on [...]

Tottenham’s most crucial transfer window

Good morning all. Apologies for the radio silence over the past few weeks, which was a shame as the blog’s popularity was gathering some momentum. However summer holidays came calling and I just didn’t have the time to devote to any updates. Nevertheless I’m now back in rainy Blighty and distinctly underwhelmed with the lack [...]

Liverpool vs Spurs – the aftermath and all other things Spurs

Roll up, roll up…as Spurs come out for the last time this season this coming Sunday. It was a match I expected to  be a bit of a dead rubber , with Birmingham most likely safe, whilst our season had nosedived with the Red Half of Self Pity City putting the final nail in our [...]

Man city vs Spurs – a review of a match I couldn’t bear to watch so I’ll just rant

I have a confession to make I didn’t watch most of last night’s game and even when I got home, I switched over to watch another bunch of incompetent but entertaining wannabes try to impress our erstwhile chairman Alan Sugar, not Tottenham Hotspur’s first team but The Apprentice. Seriously what’s with that Melody bird with [...]

Spurs, its the hope that keeps us going

As our rollercoaster season draws to a close, seemingly with a whimper rather than a bang, thoughts start veering towards next season and getting round to renewing the season ticket. Apparently we have until half -time at the Brum game on the last day of the season to renew. Given the rather poor 3G reception [...]

This Spurs fan will be silently routing for Arsenal today

Controversial maybe, but I actually think my loyalties for one day should reside with the Nomads from South London tomorrow. Whilst I usually like nothing better than London’s joint third most successful side in Europe (alongside the Pikey’s from Green Street) losing ,this time I would actually share our country bumpkin neighbours’ joy if they [...]

Indian Football Fans, an outsider’s view

So due to the Yoonited – Citeh semi on Saturday, there’s no Spurs game on the weekend as we were due to meet the sky blue half of Manchester; a club who’s most famous footballing achievement is of course finishing runners up in the most famous FA Cup Final of them all in 1981 to [...]

Arsenal have offered Samir Nasri a new contract worth £90,000-a-week which would make him the second highest paid player in the club’s history. On loan City pair not seeking a return to Eastlands

Emmanuel Adebayor is hoping his two goals in Real Madrid’s 4-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur will help him earn a long-term deal at the club. The on loan City striker headed home in each half during Tuesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg in Madrid.
“I have two months to go and the club will decide what they want to do – but of course I want to stay,” he said, “I just have to keep working hard every day in training. They brought me here to help with the run-in to …

City rebuff bids for goalkeeper and defender

Manchester City have turned down bids from Spurs for Shay Given and Juventus for Micah Richards according to reports this morning.
Sky Sports News say that City have turned down an approach from Italian giants Juventus for full-back Micah Richards. Richards, 22, has struggled to secure a regular place in Roberto Mancini’s star-studded first XI and has started just 10 league games this season.
The England international has already expressed his concerns to Mancini about his lack of action and recently indicated he would be prepared to leave Eastlands in search of …

Better Days (Dicks In Wolves Clothing)

Well, another Wednesday night following a nerve-wrecking result. And when I say nerve wrecking, I mean chop them out, piss on them kind of wrecking. My initial anger with the Arsenal faded last night when I took a look at the table, we’re still 3…

Shakhtar Donetsk defender Darijo Srna insists that Arsenal are better than Barcelona at the moment. The Ukrainian club travel to play the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium in a Champions League game between the two sides. Shakhtar have played Barca twice in the last two seasons – in the Champions League and the European Super [...]

Cesc Fabregas Perfect Role-Model for Jack Wilshere

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has revealed how he looks up to team-mate Cesc Fabregas and how he aims to follow his captain’s lead. The 18-year-old has already made an impression for the Gunners this season and earned his first senior cap for England last month in a friendly against Hungary. And Wilshere admits he has [...]

ARSENAL GOES THUG

Well, first off it seems Jack Wilshere was arrested in the early hours this morning after a brawl outside a night club. They’re saying Wilshere played peacekeeper but I will admit that I would have liked him to have thrown a few punches himself. More hilariously however is the fact that the entire ordeal was [...]
