Paraguay’s biggest fan (in more ways than one!) is the gorgeous glamour model Larissa Riquelme, and of course she is in Argentina cheering on her favourite team in the Copa America. Alvarez To Replace Fabregas! Are You Having A Laugh?

The rumour that is gathering some pace around the internet is Ricky Alvarez joining Arsenal from the Argentine club Velez. Just for some formalities, he’s a creative midfielder who plays a similar role to Cesc Fabregas. I don’t know how good a player he is. And seeing videos on Youtube doesn’t help that. But still I [...]

Should Tevez quit Argentina?

Carlos Tevez is a blue and he’s happy about it

It’s probably not escaped your notice that City travel to The Swamp to face The Rags on Saturday, and Greater Manchester Police are aware of the heightened tension surrounding the clash.
Recent fixtures between the two sides have been plagued by problems – most notably after Paul Scholes’s late winner at Eastlands last season – and the police are concerned that a stream of incendiary statements, from the likes of Gary ‘shit scared of City so I’ll retire’ Neville and Carlos Tevez, have increased the likelihood of problems.
City responded …

Germany v Argentina extended World Cup highlights – Class from Klose!

This was billed as the most even match so far in the World Cup, but Argentina, with Messi, Tevez and Higuain leading the attack, were made favourites to overcome the “inexperienced” Germans.
But they were completely blown away by the youngsters of Germany, although Miroslav Klose could hardly be called young! Argentina were shocked when Muller [...]

Argentina v Greece World Cup highlights

Argentina had already qualified for the knockout stages of this World Cup, so could afford to rest a few players for this match against Greece, but they still easily made it three out of three to install themselves amongst the favourites to win the competition.
Greece defended well and it took Argentina until the 77th minute [...]

Argentina v S.Korea extended World Cup highlights – Majestic Messi

Argentina were disappointing in the World Cup Qualifiers, but with the amount of skill in the squad they can never be written off.
Even with Lionel Messi, Higuain and Tevez could only manage one goal in their opening game against Nigeria, and it took an own goal from Jung-Si Park to open the scoring today, but [...]
