Cardiff won 2-0 at home to Blackburn on Tuesday night to reach the League Cup semi-finals for the first time since 1966.
The Bluebirds heaped further pressure on Rovers manager Steve Kean in the process as goals from Kenny Miller and Anthony Gerrard put the Welsh club into the last four.
