A brief round up of (non) events
Posted on October 10th, 2010 | by Jay-Jay in Arsenal,Arsenal News,Begovic,Football,Schwarzer, transfersThe unwavering tedium of the international break soon takes its toll. In the vein hope of stumbling across a story of interest or note, I find myself blundering through various news sources.
What do I discover? Well, not a great deal.
Stoke’s second-stringer and shot-stopper extraordinare, Asmir Begovic, is the latest in the long line of keepers with dubious credentials to be linked with us and I cannot fathom why we’d do such a thing.
Schwarzer was hardly setting our sights toward the pinnacle of talent, but pointing our transfer phasers at a reserve keeper from a club with whom we share a fragile relationship is patently foolish.
But hey, it’s probably bollocks.
The England game looms on Tuesday and I can barely contain my excitement… Okay, so I jest with you, my beautiful reader. It’s just another game I’ll watch unable to support the plethora of whore enthusiasts and serial bigamists- excluding St. Jackie, of course.
At least we don’t have that long to wait until the proper stuff starts.
